With various forms of transport available, whether you are heading here for work, for pleasure or a mix of the two, this is how to get to Sherborne without a hitch.
By car
Sherborne is easily reached from the A303 at Wincanton. By road it sits on the A30, between Yeovil and Shaftesbury.
By aeroplane
There are a couple of options. You can fly into Bournemouth airport, 32 miles from Sherborne, or into Bristol airport, 42 miles away.
Looking further afield, from London Heathrow there is a bus and rail link via Woking. From London Gatwick, change at Clapham Junction to connect with the train to Sherborne.
By train
South Western Railway operate a regular hourly service from London Waterloo to Sherborne, and the journey takes about two hours and fifteen minutes. Trains from Exeter and other points in the South West are regular too.
